The Prairie Wind Hunting Club lands are the home for large flocks of turkey just waiting to challenge your prowess. As the Rio Grande turkey subspecies dominates the western two-thirds of Kansas, and the Eastern subspecies is common in the eastern regions, hybrid Rio Grande/Eastern birds are found where the two ranges converge. With the geographic location of Prairie Wind Hunting Club, there is opportunity to bag one of Kansas's Eastern, Rio Grande, or the hybrid toms. PWHC hunting lands lie in Turkey Unit 5.
The 2021 Turkey Season is looking to be another great one. Plenty of turkeys have been spotted during this past deer season! |

PWHC provides overnight accommodations for up to 13 hunters on-site in newly renovated and expanded hunting quarters. One bunkhouse sleeps eight guests with handicap facilities. A new bunkhouse sleeps up to 5 with 2 private bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a twin bed over a full size bed. In addition, the new bunkhouse is equipped with full bath facilities and a large common area. The hunting packages include overnight accommodations and you are invited to join us for all meals, complements of PWHC. It has been our practice to feature wild game for the main meal each day, generally consisting of venison, pheasant, or quail. |
